This map shows our community network’s span and structure. Icons on the map show the layers of our wireless network, including our WiFi access points that broadcast internet in public and private spaces, as well as the high sites where we access PhillyWisper’s backhaul, the point-to-point radios and the routers that bring internet to people’s homes. Other features on the map show connections between devices, a timeline to see our network’s growth over the years, and a heatmap.

Areas covered by the heatmap should have PCW signal available for a free Wi-Fi connection. Please keep in mind that the heatmap may not be accurate at street-level. If you cannot access the Wi-Fi network at such a location, you may need to walk around a street corner. Try to find the closest Philly Community Wireless access point visible to ensure a good connection.

Our Headquarters

Philly Community Wireless’s headquarters is located at the Norris Square Neighborhood Project (NSNP), at 2141 N Howard St. We are on the east side of Norris Square Park.
